About Chromophobia

Camera shy from a young age, photographer Meghan Wells has always preferred to be behind the camera. Now based out of the Phoenix metropolitan area, Meghan developed her love for photography back home in the Midwest, where she started taking simple snapshots of the family pets.  Now a more developed passion, Meghan's favorite subjects include nature and the body, and using photography to convey social commentary. In recent times her specialty has shifted from taking photographs to manipulating photographs to create highly artistic prints. Chromophobia, the fear of color, denotes Meghan's preference for black and white photography, though vibrant colors are often found in her artistic prints.
